This session will build on the foundation laid by the Meditation through Movement workshop and add more high-speed and calisthenics drills to promote health, agility, coordination and overall more ease-of-movement in the body. Partner exercises will include kali-stick drills as well as slow-motion contact with sticks and prop swords to cultivate spatial-awareness, efficient reaction pathways and a solid command of one’s immediate surroundings. All exercises can be modified to fit students’ individual ability and comfort level and to ensure accessibility. All are welcome, from beginners to those well versed in various movement practices.
