Gina Rizzo Bishop
Gina (she/her) made her Broadway debut as Mary Rogers in The Will Rogers Follies. Her National Tour credits include: The Will Rogers Follies, Gypsy and Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She is a working actress on stage and screen with theatrical credits that include: Hair, Anything Goes, Seussical, Annie, Godspell, Unfabulous, and Drake & Josh on Nickelodeon. Gina is an accomplished Los Angeles based choreographer having worked on shows such as: CW's Girfriends, The Game and Big Love on HBO. Gina has been teaching dance to children for the last 19 years and has played an integral role as Choreographer, Dance Instructor & Co-Artistic Director for multiple Children’s Performing Arts Organizations, as well as the Burbank Vocal Music Association Show Choirs. She is honored to have traveled internationally offering free dance classes and teaching English to underprivileged kids in: South Africa, Thailand and Bali. In 2016 Gina spent the year performing as a dancer with Carnival Cruise Lines and in 2017 toured the west coast with Hollywood's premiere tap dancing troupe, The Satin Dollz. Most recently she premiered Urban Death at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe festival in Scotland with North Hollywood’s ZJU Theatre Company. She is proud to have spent the last 11 years inspiring young performers to use dance as a positive platform, by transforming an annual Dance Ensemble into a platform to support valuable causes. As a result, hundreds of students in the city of Burbank have teamed up with Gina to “Dance For A Cause” raising both awareness, support and making considerable contributions to the following organizations: The Invisible Children’s Network, Children of Haiti, Soles 4 Souls, Burbank Temporary Aid, The Bully Project, Marley’s Mutt, Love Yourself Campaign and in 2020, Puerto Rico Earthquake Relief.
