Join us for an immersive indie sleaze dance party where our DJ will spin indie, bloghouse, Brit pop, and electropop - everything from those artists that made it to your iPod because Pitchfork said they were cool.
However, this isn’t your typical L.A. nightclub experience – attendees will become engrossed in a drama taking place at the party in the form of live performances and interactive elements, and will have the opportunity to solve the mystery of a character’s death. Was it accidental? Or was it…murder?
Either way, Alice and Roxy – 2012’s hottest “it girls” – are involved.
Throughout the evening, a video jockey will project a Tumblr feed of real-time photos from the party that reveal all of the dirty details of Alice and Roxy's tumultuous relationship.
VIP guests will have access to a secret room with a private bar, special one-on-one interactions with characters, and a professional photographer for an exclusive, high-flash, white-background photoshoot.
While the dance party takes place on June 2nd, the fun really begins on May 19th when ticket holders will gain access to an exclusive group chat where they can interact with other partygoers, including Alice and Roxy. In this group chat, guests will witness the unraveling of their torrid friendship when an anonymous Tumblr user starts posting their secrets. Alice’s ex-boyfriend Tony is soon found dead of an overdose, with her prescription medication found in his system. From here, guests can search for clues and chime in with their theories on what really happened.
Take a trip back to those debauched days of the early-2010s in this one-of-a-kind dance party that combines immersive theater and an alternate reality gaming experience.
